The ancient settlements of Karakabaklı and Işıkkale are located approximately 8 km northwest of the coastal town of Susanoğlu within the borders of the Silifke district of Mersin province. This book aims to bring together and evaluate the well-preserved archaeological findings of both settlements. The rural character of these two settlements necessitates discussing the settlements' relations with cities.
